Free hands-on cooking classes in the kitchen teach low-income families how to prepare nutritious meals while making optimal use of their limited resources. Volunteer roles include: accepting and sorting donations, preparing clothing donations, pricing, merchandising, register operations, customer service and more. Volunteers are ideally available at least once per week, for 4 hours at the Discovery Shop at 805 W. Garland. 328-9373
