  • Adventures in Deliciousness

    3025 N. Government Way Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls

DJ Megow has wanted to own a restaurant since he was 14, and now at 61 years old, that dream has come true for the long-time food industry worker. • Big Red's

Sunset Highway & Government Way Spokane - West

This food truck on Spokane's Sunset Highway is a departure for a chef who has worked at C.I. Shenanigans, the Wolf Lodge and the Davenport, but his take on big-city street food (Chicago dogs, Philly sandwiches, etc.) shows he still has a passion for the kitchen, even if it's tiny and on wheels. • Kiko's Harbor House Grill

    n/a Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls

With its island theme, Kiko's is a seasonal stopover reminiscent of casual beachfront eateries found in places like Southern California. Kiko’s serves up bites like a Big Kahuna Dog topped with a homemade relish of grilled pineapple, jalapeño and serrano pepper, onion, cilantro and sesame oil. Or slow-marinated Luau Pork on a sandwich, skewered with rice or wrapped in lettuce with cucumber slaw. (Dec. 2015)

  • Tacos El Sol

    401 W. Sprague Ave. Spokane - Downtown

Located at First and Washington, Tacos El Sol is a quick walk from most offices downtown. Don’t miss it; it’s a bright yellow truck. But don’t let that deceive you. They have a diverse menu and a delicious one at that. You can walk over for some taces, sopes, burritos or enchiladas. Choose from beef, chicken or pork. (July 2013)
